Well hello! As I’m sure you’ve already gathered, I’m mad about ducks!

My fascination started when I was kid growing up.

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful river at the bottom of my parents bit of land. As soon as school finished each day, I’d run as fast as I could with my dogs to be down by the river. Friends of my parents would let me use their canoe so I would paddle up the river to explore and the dogs would either run along the river bank or swim next to the canoe to keep up with me.

I’ve spent hours watching all the birds on the river but my favourites were always the ducks.

I love watching them trawling for food with their beaks under the water and how cross they’d get if the dogs dared to get too close!

My dream!

Now I’m older and have moved away from my childhood home, I have an area where I can raise ducks as well as grow my own vegetables. I’ve done masses of research on exactly how to look after ducks and rear them successfully. I want to achieve my dream of having my own small holding and living self-sufficiently, I thought that other people who have already managed to buy themselves some land may benefit from the knowledge I’ve gained from my research and planning. So I’ve put all my research into an ebook on how to raise and look after ducks. Everything you could ever need to know is in my book.

I want to help people who are keen to raise ducks but just don’t know how to go about it.

Not everyone has been as lucky as I have, to grow up watching ducks in their natural habitat. The other reason I’ve written my ebook on duck rearing is I’ve been appalled by the quality of some of the information that is out there. I’ve come across some unbelievably badly written ebooks!  So rather than moaning about them, I decided to do it myself in a way I believe will really benefit people with an interest in having ducks. I don’t imagine I’m ever going to be a millionaire from my ebook on ducks but every book I sell will definitely go towards my dream of owning my own small hold.
